It was a 'dessert' weekend for me. I ate ice creams ice creams and then ice creams - fattening junk food that tend to brighten people's mood.

To fix my 'sianed' mood, I even decided to wear my pokka dots lime green long skirt.

Happy birthday to my beloved grandma who often tastes my home-made cookies. I enjoyed having buffet at the void deck. I enjoyed watching my mum and relatives singing in the KTV room.

I can't remember when was the last time we took a family photo, and I can't recall when was our last family outing. Tonight, I'm happy and contented.

I'm back from my taiwan trip! I bite into juicy 'shui jian bao'. I sipped QQ bubble tea. I met friendly uncles and aunties. I crossed path with fanciful dogs even in the eatery and I slept in the most cozy bed & breakfast inn I ever stayed, accompanied by the most papa-like foriegn cab driver I ever met.

Despite the sore throat and slight gastric pain, the trip was fruitful and fun. I'm glad I didn't give it a miss.

The day we walked Dan Shui was a wet wet day. It started with a morning drizzle which turned into a rainy night. I don't like grey skies...

Sightseeing along the journey from Taipei to Hua Lian was something out of the ordinary. I like the sea, the mountains and the cool wind. The road was bumpy though. To sit at the back of the car was even bumpier. Luckily I had my breakfast. Too many hours of travelling on the rocky road with an empty stomach probably will cause me gastric discomfort, then I would be kept 'busily unwell' the whole day instead of enjoying the great sceneries.
