I love biting into sweet juicy grapes on a sunday morning. Yum Yum.

I extracted part of the lyrics from Elva Hsiao's new song because Miss Chuin said it suits me to a tee...
(Youre so so so so so so 靠近了)
然后 终于什么都可以露
要瘦瘦瘦瘦 成仙成佛(Youre no nono no 没有借口)
结果 会换来桃花丰收
这是谁订的规则

Sometimes we forgot that genuine praises are the most beautiful free treats we can give. A few words and it almost usually evokes a 'good' feeling. Most of all, while citicism exposes a person's weakness, a praise does the opposite...
Once in a while, we all need to find our strength to remain optimistic.

Miss Le brought us to another restuarant - Brewbaker's Kitchen&Bar. For some reasons, some friends couldn't turn up at the very last minute and Miss Le wasn't too happy. Luckily I had Mr Teddy there to help cheered her up. I love the stretch of green field at Farmway LRT and those flying kites in the evening sky. Simple. Nice.

Why do we cry sometimes? Of happiness, anger, sorrow, regrets or was it because of something else...like emptiness?
How many of us had felt the sudden urge to cry at times? When we don't understand exactly why, but the tears began to cloud our eyes and it trailed down our cheeks too fast for us to hold it back...
I guess it is an indication to hint us that our 'bottle' is full and it is time to convert some 'content' into flowing tears so there is space to store new ones...

I firmly believe that when we are in a down mood, frustration anger and whatever negative emotions we feel will blind our fair judgement. We easily find fault with almost everything we see or hear and no one can really motivate us. No one can help us to get over this period except ourselves...
Time eventually heals. An old saying yet very true. It doesn't matter what sort of sadness we undergo, it is simply a matter of time before problems are solved. Some choose to end a life, some live with opened scars, some walk out of depressions and some become stronger, understanding themselves better... every outcome, good or bad, is a solution on its own.
I'm not indifferent and cold-hearted. Being depressed can be very difficult, I had my share of similiar rough moments when alot things were an eye sore... But then, I'm not a psychiatrist. I don't have many right words of encouragement. I wish my brothers, my friends, those who have caught the depressed bugs, a quick recovery.

Even the clown needs a rest. Sometimes you never understood why they need it because you have never been in their big flappy shoes. You have never seen them without their funny red nose. You think they should be the one who entertain, not the other way round. It probably didn't occur to you that while they were busy faking clumsy falls and cracking silly jokes, the audience enthusiasm was what kept them going...
Removed the makeup, shed the fanciful pajamas, they are only plain Johns and Janes. They are only humans. And a human, no matter how talkative and energetic, has their quiet moments. Quiet moments to recharge, to listen to someone else talking...to simply enjoy being entertained.
At times I am drained, and it is not all about work. Thanks Jun. Thanks XP. Love you gals.

We went to explore good food again. This time it was to Thomson Road. Sadly, of all the pictures I took, the most important ones came out blurred - the food. The below are all I have got for this trip. Argh. Looks like my handphone's camera has the same lousy night vision as me.
7 July - My attempt at fixing the blurred photo...

I have heard this song for at least a dozen times and each time the lyrics never failed to make me think -
Hey lady, you lady, cursing at your life. You're a discontented mother and a regimented wife. I've no doubt you dream about the things you'll never do. But, I wish someone had talked to me like I wanna talk to you...
I've been to Georgia and California and, anywhere I could run. I took the hand of a preacher man and we made love in the sun. But I ran out of places and friendly faces because I had to be free... I've been to paradise but I've never been to me.
Sometimes I've been to crying for unborn children that might have made me complete, but I took the sweet life I never knew I'd be bitter from the sweet. I've spent my life exploring the subtle whoring that costs too much to be free... I've been to paradise but I've never been to me.

I'm back from my taiwan trip! I bite into juicy 'shui jian bao'. I sipped QQ bubble tea. I met friendly uncles and aunties. I crossed path with fanciful dogs even in the eatery and I slept in the most cozy bed & breakfast inn I ever stayed, accompanied by the most papa-like foriegn cab driver I ever met.
Despite the sore throat and slight gastric pain, the trip was fruitful and fun. I'm glad I didn't give it a miss.
