I am unlucky to have a degenerative eye disorder which is very uncommonly found in a chinese lady. The cause is unknown and it has already affected both my good and bad eyes. The only "cure" is to try to stop it from progressing and deteriorate further by doing a fairly new surgical procedure. For a while, it depressed me. On the other hand, I am lucky that it is found out early.
